Two of these frames can be used in two types of styles. For the float style we consider 1/4" gap on each side.
Ideal for aluminum metal prints, foam-board mounted artworks or any rigid surface up to 5/16" or 8mm thickness.

$This simplistic yet modular matte black frame is designed for metal prints, acrylic prints and dry mounts. This smart design features a minimalist stepped profile that serves as a floater frame or a standard picture frame. For the floating effect, the print can be attached on top of the inner step of the frame, without sacrificing the artwork edges. This frame can also be used as standard picture frame. The lowered center paired with slightly raised outer lip creates a frame within a frame effect. However, due to the inner most lip of the frame, a fraction of the artwork will be hidden. But, this can be avoided with a linen liner combo.$
