Husband and wife team, Rebecca Cross and Max MacKenzie opened their gallery in 2006 to showcase contemporary artists with a specialty in ceramic arts. We relocated to Dupont Circle in June 2011.
cross mackenzie gallery exhibits both sculptural and functional artwork from some of the most accomplished and challenging artists working in the medium of clay today. Featuring individual artist exhibits and thematic group shows, the gallery showcases the significant talents of local artists as well as notable painters, photographers, potters and sculptors from around the country. The gallery participates in art fairs and collaborative projects with other galleries.
In addition to the monthly shows, cross mackenzie gallery offers a collection of paintings, photographs and ceramic works for sale year round and works with designers and architects to provide custom tiles, wall pieces and unique art objects for residences, corporate offices, hotels and restaurants.
