Q1 : How good is the quality of enlarged prints from Instagram photos? The maximum print size for an Instagram photo varies based on the resolution. Old Instagram photos were all 612 x 612 pixels and 72 DPI, but the new update bumps the size up to 1936 x 1936 pixels on the iPhone 4, and even larger on newer iPhones. We would recommend sizes smaller than 18x18" for low resolution images, and up to 40 x 40" for new versions. |

Q4 : What is Instagram? Instagram is an online photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr, as well as Instagram's own site. A distinctive feature of Instagram is the square shape to which it composes all pictures, similar to Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid images, in contrast to the 16:9 aspect ratio now typically used by mobile device cameras. The digital filters offered by Instagram are: Amaro, Mayfair, Rise, Valencia, Hudson, X-Pro II, Sierra, Willow, Lo-fi, Earlybird, Sutro, Toaster, Brannan, Inkwell, Walden, Hefe, Nashville, 1977 and Kelvin. |
